Steamworks Brewing Company is looking for a Taproom Manager for the award-winning Brewery in Burnaby! This is a full-time position that requires handling the day-to-day operations of the Taproom and providing exceptional customer service. If you love hospitality, are dependable, have an ability to multitask, and are enthusiastic about craft beer, this is the position for you. *Responsibilities:* * Manage the day-to-day operations of the Taproom with a hands-on approach * Provide our taproom customers with outstanding service * Utilize leadership skills and motivate employees * Provide high quality hiring, training, and support of taproom employees * Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive revenue growth * Exhibit excellent time management and people management skills * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the taproom, storage & office areas * Work closely with our on-site Food Truck team * Collaborate with the leadership team to plan and execute events, promotions, and special releases * Uphold stock and appearance of retail displays * Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional and timely manner * Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure product availability. *Required Skills:* * Self-motivated & results driven * Effective interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills * Ability to make judgement calls independently * Be adaptable to a growing clientele including locals, visitors, tours, private events & more! *Job Requirements:* * Love Craft Beer and the culture/community surrounding it! * Serving It Right * Food Safe Certification (an asset) * Point of Sale experience * Ability to lift and carry kegs and/or stock between 80-150 lbs Steamworks Group of Companies values diversity and inclusion and encourages all qualified people to apply.
