The Accounting Technician reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for handling tasks such as recording, analysing, and reporting of financial data. The ideal candidate for this role has a working knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them in a practical way. *Duties & Responsibilities* * Work within Business Central ERP system for all accounting tasks * Oversee AR/AP invoicing and payments * Data entry and database management, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the accounting system * Reconcile bank account and credit card monthly * Solid understanding of COGS and inventory flow * Manage day-to-day accounting tasks * Process GST, PST, QST monthly * Record day to day financial transactions * Assist in processing biweekly payroll * Prepare year-end journal for accountants to complete annual financial statements * Perform filing and general administrative tasks * Other duties as required *Qualifications & Experience* * 3+ years? experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role required * Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts * Ability to analyze data and assist with COGS calculations * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP accounting software * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work * Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) * Driver?s license or reliable form of transportation Bold Growth Inc. offers an incredible work environment and career advancement opportunities.
