We are looking for motivated individuals passionate about making a tangible impact on climate change.As a Climate Program Specialist (Customer Success, Bilingual English/French), you will support our clients and users participating in or running climate programs across North America. These programs include (but are not limited to) building energy benchmarking and decarbonization planning. You will ensure that all customers benefit from an excellent user experience through our services and software, and will provide direct support for onboarding, data processing, data analysis, reporting and other tasks as needed. This role is a great opportunity if you are looking to start building your career in climate tech, building decarbonization, or sustainable program management. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring the best user experience for program participants and clients 1:1, via email and/or video calls.- Support users in their use of OPEN?s platforms (Building Owner Portal and GRID) including data processing and data analysis, product demonstrations, webinars and written content.- Use ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to collect building energy data, or provide help and guidance to program participants in using the platform.- Own the data quality control process, working with users to troubleshoot and correct any data quality issues.- Manage time-sensitive tasks and concurrent priorities to maintain contract SLAs and program milestones, while also mitigating risks and reporting on program progress internally- Collect feedback from users of OPEN?s software tools and energy reporting programs, recommending improvements. Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in program management, sustainability or a related field (including 1 year in a client-facing role).- A degree or diploma in STEM, sustainability, the built environment or a technical business field, or equivalent professional experience.- Bilingual in French and English (required) with experience working in both languages.- You are based in Canada (required), with preference for those located in the Eastern Time zone in order to best serve our customers.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with great attention to detail- Some understanding of how buildings use energy and emit GHGs. Nice to haves: - Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and other tools in building energy reporting.- Experience working on energy efficiency programs or sustainability initiatives.- Experience working with data sets, performing data analysis in Excel and various data management systems.
