*Job Summary:* We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a busy restaurant environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent organizational skills, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. *Responsibilities:* * *Dishwashing and Sanitation:* * Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchenware. * Ensure that all items are washed and stored according to health and safety standards. * Regularly empty and clean trash bins to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. * *Kitchen Support:* * Assist kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks as needed. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and mopping floors. * Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines to prevent contamination. * *Collaboration:* * Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. * Communicate effectively with team members to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes. * *Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:* * Follow all sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. * Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel. * *Time Management:* * Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to keep up with the demands of a high-volume restaurant. * Be adaptable to changing priorities and be able to work under pressure during peak hours. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. * Knowledge of proper food handling and safety standards. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude. * Team player with excellent communication skills. *Schedule:* The shifts start at 5pm and can go as late as 2am. *Benefits:* * Competitive hourly wage * Employee meal discounts * Opportunities for advancement within the organization If you are a hardworking and reliable individual with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Dishwasher in our bustling restaurant.
