Looking for a hygienist starting in January of 2025 that could potentially lead to a Full-time position. Must be available to work weekends. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. * Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment. * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system (experience with Dentrix is a plus). * Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. *Experience* * A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required. * Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or orthodontics. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this skill enhances communication with diverse patient populations. * Familiarity with medical terminology and customer service principles is essential for effective patient interaction. * Experience with dental assisting duties may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
