Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance. Welding experience. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Diesel engine repair specialization: Major internal engine repairs or overhaul. Lubrication system. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Mechanical transmissions. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Manual dexterity. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
