We're looking for a SEO/SEM assistant who is experienced in the following: * *Google Ads* (Full understanding of campaigns, audience segments, conversion tracking, ad extensions, keyword research, performance metrics like CTR, CPL, quality scores, etc...). * *Organic SEO* (Onsite SEO factors, SEO audits, competitor analysis, keyword research, link building, ahrefs, semrush, etc) * *Local SEO* (What it takes to rank a business on maps) * BONUS: *Google Ads and/or Analytics Certifications considered a big plus.* Other requirements: * Advanced WordPress Experience (not just updating pages/posts but troubleshooting issues occasionally) * Experience in using tools like either ahrefs, semrush, surferSEO or similar. * Experience in quality link building (no black hat or grey hat!) * Experience in SEO Audits * Experience in producing quality reports for customers * Extensive WordPress Experience (not just adding posts but adding/customizing themes and plugins too) * Experience with improving UX * Great writing skills (no typos or grammar mistakes in emails) * Great English communication skills * Reliable and honest *When you apply, please answer the following 3 questions:* 1) When it comes to on-site SEO, besides the obvious meta tags and titles, name 2-3 factors that could improve rankings *that many people don't pay attention to*? 2) When it comes to off-site SEO or link building, name 2-3 FREE sources of high-quality links that any business can take advantage of? 3) In your opinion, what is the most important aspect of Google Ads? Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * Link Building: 1 year (preferred) * writing reports: 1 year (preferred) * Conversion Rate Optimization: 1 year (preferred) * SEO Audits: 1 year (required) * Google Ads: 1 year (required) * communicating with clients: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
