Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination. Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Mixing fertilizer. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Shear Christmas trees. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area.
