Located on the Atlantic side of the Cabot Trail, Cabot Shores is a second home to guests from all over the world. We offer a range of traditional and unique accommodations, outdoor adventures, wellness services, cultural activities and serve nutritious meals in our Bistro. We emphasize garden-to-table practices and sourcing of local seafood. All our dishes are made from scratch. Join our team of hardworking, fun-loving staff and spend your time in a beautiful setting, enjoying activities onsite such as meditation, Qi Gong, kayaking, hiking, swimming, music jams, and more. Duties include: Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Handle and store cleaning products Requirements: - 1+ years? experience as a Kitchen Helper/cook in a full-service restaurant or equivalent setting - Excellent communication and organization skills - Able to work in a fast-paced but friendly environment - Enjoy being in a rural area of Cape Breton General information: - Full time / Part Time - Hourly wage or Salary (depends on experience) plus shared tips - Some staff housing available (inquire) Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $15.20-$17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Casual dress * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationEnglishtown, NS
