We are leading environmental company in Western Canada, providing environmental services to our clients. We are currently for our on-site water treatment division.
We have a full-time position available for an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor will, in conjunction with the General Manager, implement the day-to-day operations of the division, and if necessary, provides field services for our clients when our service technicians are unavailable. We operate permanent and temporary water treatment systems on their sites for construction, remediation and industrial projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
* Schedule daily tasks for treatment technicians
* Field calls from clients and provide on the phone trouble shooting or emergency dispatch
* Manage equipment inventories and scheduling / projecting inventories into the future
* Project inventory needs and order on "Just in Time" basis
* Diagnose, repair, and build new equipment
* When needed, you may be required to supplement our technician staff, including equipment installation, commissioning, and repair, system calibration, equipment optimization, and field service / maintenance / monitoring
Qualifications: ·
* Experience with personnel scheduling, inventory management, system scheduling
* Mechanical repair experience a plus
* experience and/or education in the water treatment field ·
* Water treatment analysis experience ·
* Ability to apply in house training on water chemistry and the applicable environmental regulations ·
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools ·
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls ·
* Ability to work unsupervised ·
As noted this position is permanent-full time. Our core hours are 7:00-3:30 Monday through Friday, but you may be required to work outside of those hours depending on client demand.
Overtime work and weekend work is common ·
Valid and current Class 5 Driver?s License is required as you will be expected to travel to our clients' sites.
