We cover the IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure professions.<br><br>We're looking for an experienced IT Director to join a leisure company located on Montreal's North Shore.</p><p>Main responsibilities: <br>Operationalize the strategic vision: Implement the company's strategic objectives in his/her department. <br>Planning and management: Plan, organize, direct and control team activities, plans and projects. <br>Recruiting and coaching: Hire, train and supervise department employees. <br>Work methodology: Develop, maintain and update department-specific methods. <br>Budget: Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and ensure its follow-up. <br>Negotiation: Manage departmental agreements and contracts. <br>IT project management: Plan, execute and monitor IT projects while respecting deadlines, budgets and quality standards. <br>Continuous improvement: Optimize technological infrastructure. <br>Mobility: Travel to gyms as needed to monitor projects. <br>Implementation of IT solutions: Implement new initiatives, systems and software. <br>Coordination with suppliers: Collaborate with IT suppliers and guarantee the quality of services. <br>Validation of work and charges: Analyze supplier work, approve invoices and ensure compliance with standards. <br>Documentation: Document projects and draw up procedures. <br>Communication: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of project progress. <br>IT security: Oversee the application of policies and ensure security compliance.</p><p>Prerequisites and technical skills:<br>Education: University degree in computer science or related field.<br>Experience: Minimum 5 years in personnel management in a similar position.<br>Mastery of tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).<br>Technology watch: Monitor trends and identify opportunities to optimize infrastructures.<br>Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud systems, networks and tools.<br>Personal skills:<br>Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.<br>Team spirit, priority management, active listening and empathy with users.<br>Autonomy, organization and ability to learn proactively.<br>Adaptability in a constantly evolving environment and ability to be an agent of change.</p><p><br> <br>Job conditions : Permanent full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday. <br> <br> <br>*********The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons: <br>- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate with them regularly in English, both orally and in writing. <br>- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts. <br>- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.</p>
