What you should have: * Red seal journeyman certification * Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code * Strong knowledge of distribution equipment and BC Hydro standards * Min. 3-5 years experience as Foreman running commercial, institutional, multi unit residential projects ? What you will be doing: * Oversee and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish * Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints * Coordinate with other trades and contractors on the job site * Supervise a team of electricians and provide guidance as needed * Organize and plan materials for project * Quality control for the work on site * Maintain safe working practices and conditions * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues ?Required Skills: * Strong knowledge of distribution installation and wiring * Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and wiring * Ability to plan and delegate work * Strong knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, and city bylaws applicable to the electrical work * Strong planning ability and understanding of branch circuitry * Strong understanding of lighting and lighting control systems Nice to have: * First aid certification * Fall protection training * Boom & scissor lift training If interested please apply by email or online at advancoelectric.com/careers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationVancouver, BC
