*Overview* Meteor Systems is an established leader in the development of advanced growing systems for the professional horticulture sector worldwide. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we operate a large manufacturing facility from which we distribute our growing solutions globally. Our branch in Leamington, known for its professional horticulture industry, plays a significant role in our operations. We are committed to advancing the horticultural industry by implementing our growing systems in projects focused on sustainability and water efficiency. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a qualified Sales Manager to oversee our initiatives across Canada, including the French-speaking regions. Meteor Systems is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time Salesperson. The ideal candidate must have a strong passion for customer service. This position is based at our Leamington branch, where you will be responsible for servicing the North American market. The right person for the role will be capable of providing our customers with the best solutions for their specific growing needs. Working with the client every step of the way, from concept to completion. *Duties* * Collaborate directly with customers to assess their needs and recommend the most effective systems to support their growth * Generate quotations and provide assistance with designs and drawings * Work under pressure with high volume turnarounds and short timelines * Identify new business opportunities and cultivate customer relationships * Monitor sales reports, appointments and client information * Maintain excellent business relationships with both existing and potential clients. *Experience* * Greenhouse/Agricultural/Horticultural experience is a necessity, Horticultural Technology experience is an asset * Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is preferred. Proficiency in English is essential * Valid passport with the ability to freely travel throughout North America and Europe as needed for customer service and training purposes * Valid driver?s license and clean abstract * Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written. Marketing experience is an asset * Highly motivated and capable of working unsupervised * Flexibility and willingness to work individually as well as in a team environment, * Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Meteor Systems offers a competitive salary based upon experience and skill set. After the completion of a 3-month probationary period, a full set of health benefits are also offered.
