A Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Shop, looking to hire an Automotive Mechanic to join our team. A licensed journeyman/journeywoman is ideal. The right candidate for this position will have a wide variety of experience working with electrical and electronics, suspension, transmission, driveline, and engine. *Responsibilities:* * Review work orders and discuss them with the supervisor. * Test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults * Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems in a timely fashion * Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups * Advise service writer on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements. * Abide by the Company Policies such as safety, processes, team work, etc. * Perform out-of-province inspection; * Work as part of the team as well as coach apprentices; * Written and verbal communication. * Red Seal is considered an asset.
