*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining BMW vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service to our customers. *Duties* * Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. * Perform repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. * Utilize schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle specifications and repair procedures. * Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repair processes. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services provided. * Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and improve service delivery. * Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent shop setting. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. * Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding complex automotive systems. * Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for certain repair tasks. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately. * Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. * Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory.
