*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a positive patient experience. *Responsibilities* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry. * Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus. * Experience with Dentrix or Epic software for managing patient records is advantageous. * Background in pediatrics or orthodontics is desirable but not mandatory. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
