Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in different weather conditions and perform manual labor tasks. Responsibilities: - Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites - Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment - Operate hand and power tools as required - Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil - Mix and pour concrete for foundations or other structures - Assist with the installation of pipes, electrical wiring, or HVAC systems - Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing or installing drywall - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Skills: - Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks - Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools - Ability to read and interpret construction plans or blueprints (preferred) - Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail - Effective communication skills to work well within a team - Strong work ethic and reliability Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationBarrie, ON
