We're currently seeking a *Store Manager *to join our team! This position reports directly to the Liquor Manager, and some of the main responsibilities include *day, evening, and weekend shifts:*
* Maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards. The Liquor Store manager provides direction and supervision to the Liquor Store Supervisors/Clerk/Cashiers.
* Conducts regular inventory audits to ensure minimum inventory discrepancies are adhered to.
* Plans and performs all aspects of Liquor functions including ordering liquor, stocking, and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentation and proper stock levels are maintained.
* Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through proper handling of questions, comments, and complaints. Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
* Handles merchandising ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns, provides substitutions and ensures price integrity including price changes.
* Ensures regular clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe and clean store is maintained.
* Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook. Use of internal reporting methods for decision making on ordering trend, reduction planning and shrink management.
* Works with and creates marketing plans geared toward customer retention. Works with vendor partners on marketing plans in conjunction with the store marketing team.
* Leads store shrink/ theft per company policy.
* Scheduling staff and work priorities.
* Hiring, training, discipline/ termination of staff using digital tools.
* Other duties as required.

* Experience in supervising others, planning ordering, and organizing events, projects, and programs.
* Highly motivated and able to work a flexible schedule.
* Strong work ethic, great attitude, energetic, great communication skills and hardworking
* Knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft beer and or liquor industry is an asset but not required.
* Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift heavy loads up to 50+ lbs on regular basis.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Secondary School (preferred)

* Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
* Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

* French (preferred)
