Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Coordinate planting and cultivating activities. Direct agricultural crops clipping activities . Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities. Direct farm grooming activities . Implement soil fertility programs. Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Manage overall operation of farm. Establish marketing programs. Maintain financial and production records. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Supervision: 16-20 people. Type of crops: Cherries. Garlic. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system. Feeding and watering system. Fertilizer applicator. Storage and silage system. Tractor. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Work under pressure. Overtime required. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
