Golden Equity Properties has been specializing in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and Ontario markets since 2001.
We are looking for full time Area Property Administrative for the portfolio of the Brampton area , to join our growing team.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Rent collection and management of rent arrears ? this includes the preparation and issuance of default notices to tenants.
- Vetting tenant applications prior to their submission to Head Office to ensure that they are complete for consideration
- Administration of building maintenance issues ? this includes the processing and distributing of work/purchase orders and approvals, the scheduling of work with contractors, the daily updating of the status of work in progress until full completion.
- Management of apartment vacancies ? this includes the processing of all tenant notices to vacate, the scheduling of inspections of vacant apartment units, and the creation and monitoring of work orders related to the preparation of vacant units by contractors and superintendents for re-letting.
- Receiving, responding, and attending to all tenant communication, inquiries and/or complaints on a timely basis.
- Preparation of various daily, weekly, and monthly management reports, as directed by the Area Managers and updating the rent-row. (Update list of units, tenants and data entry)
- Directing and delegating to in-house maintenance and cleaning staff, as per the policies and parameters established by the Area Managers.
- Coordination of tenant move-outs and move-ins with the building superintendents and leasing staff
Additional:
- Processing the rents payment on YARDI could be an asset
- Mange the site visits with potential tenants, not required but only when is needed
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*
_Qualifications:_
- High School diploma is required, a University Degree is an asset
- Familiar with Microsoft office
- Familiarity with Land Tenant Board is an asset
- Previous experience in the real estate industry is a beneficial
_Skills_
- Strong Organisation and multi-task skills
- Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Able to take directions and perform the assigned task accurately and in timely fashion.

Salary: $33,414.51-$45,000.00 per year
