*Qualifications:* Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time *Draftsperson,* based out of our office in *Calgary, Alberta*. This position is responsible for applying technical expertise and experience in drafting to support the design and manufacturing of Foremost products. *Responsibilities:* * Design fabricated and machined products using 3D and 2D Cad to required specifications. * Detailed GD&T engineering and production documentation as needed. * Provide support to sales, production and field service as needed. * Check work of others for accuracy and compliance. * Optimize utilization of CAD programs to design and draft Foremost Products. * Prepare 3D models and drawings to meet customer specifications and scope of work. * Complete drawings according to the design as stipulated by the Design Engineer or the Senior Design Staff complete with Bills of Material and weld details. * Review work to ensure drawings meet Foremost standards for format, accuracy and timeless. * Collaborate with engineering and shop staff as required to troubleshoot unusual situations or problems. * Other duties as required. *Qualifications:* * Technical diploma preferred; ability to demonstrate CAD knowledge required * Autodesk Inventor experience is preferred, but other 3D parametric CAD experience will be considered * Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered as asset * Ability to work a project to completion * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills * Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills * The ability to be successful in a dynamic and fast paced working environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB T2E 8P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred) * drafting: 2 years (preferred) Location: * Calgary, AB T2E 8P9 (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
