*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting building supplies to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various types of freight. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. * Operate Forklift. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries. * Assist in the maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including basic automotive repairs as needed. *Qualifications* * Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record. * Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. * WHIMIS * Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. * Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 pounds) as required during deliveries. * Previous experience in freight handling or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.
