As *Junior Accountant *at Flux Lighting, you?ll play a pivotal role. Let?s dive into the details of the key responsibilities: · Enter credit card transactions and reconcile monthly statements · Accounts payable; entering vendor invoices and paying vendors · Accounts receivable; invoicing customers and receiving payments · Reconciling manufacturer commission statements · Reconcile data between internal systems · Audit project software for incomplete billing · Bank statement reconciliations · Assist in preparing salesperson commission reports · Assist with payroll · Resolving problems as needed *Qualifications:* * A college diploma or university degree in *accounting, finance, business administration* or a related field. * Strong *understanding of accounting principles* and financial regulations. * *Knowledge of GAAP* (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). * *Proficient with Microsoft 365*; Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word. * Excellent *analytical* and *problem-solving skills*. * Strong *attention to- LocationNepean, ON
