*HR Manager Job Description*
*Key Responsibilities:*
The HR Manager will be responsible for implementing next-generation HR strategies across the Paradigm Group. This role will focus on leveraging AI and technology to streamline recruitment, onboarding, and administrative processes, ultimately reducing manual work and enhancing overall efficiency. Additionally, the HR Manager will oversee training programs, discipline records, and policy development while working closely with the accounting department on payroll and compensation matters for all companies under the Paradigm Group umbrella.
* Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee management systems.
* Streamline existing HR workflows to reduce administrative burdens and improve efficiency.
* Manage employee life-cycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
* Administer grants and oversee employee training programs to support professional development for the group of companies.
* Maintain employee discipline records and ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
* Partner with accounting to manage payroll, benefits administration, and compensation-related tasks.
* Continuously review and update HR policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
* Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure employee satisfaction across all companies.
* Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in HR, ensuring Paradigm remains at the forefront of HR technology practices.
* Ensure the Joint Health and Safety committee processes are implemented and maintained.
* Maintain WorkSafe BC requirements.
* Deal with Immigration and TFW requirements.
* Skilled Trades apprenticeship programs and reporting.
* Computer and IT set up requests for all employees.
* Annual and probationary performance review compliance.
* Benefits/RRSP onboarding, package monitoring/updating, off boarding
* Maintain and implement HR policies.
* Employee handbook updates and implementation.
* May involve working at heights and using scaffolding or ladders.
* Requires lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
*Qualifications: *
* Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a strong focus on process automation and the use of AI in HR practices.
* Proven experience in simplifying and streamlining HR processes through technology.
