Our commitment to patient care and timely recovery has made us a trusted name in the area.. *Description* We are looking for a warm and reliable physiotherapy assistant to join our team part-time. The position is available from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You?ll be working alongside a great team of healthcare professionals, including chiropractors and physiotherapists, assisting in treating a variety of patients, including those with extended health coverage, private insurance, MVA, and WSIB cases. *Responsibilities* * Assisting the physiotherapist in providing treatment, education and training based exercises * Modifying treatment plans based on physiotherapist recommendations * Ensuring writing and maintaining daily soap notes * Ensuring safe use of exercise and electrotherapeutic equipment including maintenance and hygiene * Working with patients suffering from MVA, WSIB, orthopedics, sport injuries, neurological problems * Writing progress notes and discharge summary to referring family doctors. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person- LocationNorth York, ON
