Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Noisy. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Remote location. Staff accommodation provided. Tasks: Move tools, equipment and other materials. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Service attachments and working tools. Order parts and maintain inventory. Welding experience. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Area of work experience: Maintenance. Repair.
