Prairie Flour Mills Ltd. is a Manitoba-based wheat/flour processing company that serves all facets of the North American food industry, including bakery, food service distributors, as well as manufacturers.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized person to fill the HR Manager position.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage full-cycle recruitment including processing, onboarding, new hire orientation and training of the employees, and maintaining equity, diversity and inclusion policies.
Develop, review and implement company policies in accordance with the latest regulations including local and federal laws.
Conduct internal audits to assess if company employment practices are complying as per company internal standards and required labor laws.
Keep up to date on changes in laws and regulations that affect the organization and report to regulatory bodies when required.
Act as primary point of HR contact to employees, and bridging management and employee relations by addressing concerns, grievances or other issues.
Develop and implement employee?s performance reviews.
Investigate and respond to any legal complaints or allegations.
Manage health benefits and workers compensation claims and accommodations.
Supporting staff and handling employee questions such as compensation, benefits, vacation, misconduct, problem resolution and company policies or any HR-related issues and concerns.
Manage the payroll and work with other departments, exercising discretion while working with highly confidential information.
Manage off-boarding ? voluntary and involuntary terminations of employment.
*Qualifications:*
· Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
· 3-5 years? experience in a similar role
· Strong working knowledge of Federal and Manitoba employment legislation and requirements
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships proactively with employees at all levels
· Comfortable working alone or with team
*· *Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong attention for detail and accuracy in the work
