*Job Overview* A cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions and providing excellent customer service. If you enjoy working with people , this might be the perfect job for you. Here are some of the duties and responsibilities of a cashier: Key responsibilities: * Manage transactions with customers using cash registers or electronic scanners * Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate * Collect payments whether in cash or credit or account charge * Issue receipts if needed * Greet customers when entering or leaving * Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas * Keep record of transactions Requirements: * Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters, etc.) * Strong communication and time management skills * Customer satisfaction-oriented * Team focused Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 3.5 months Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 18 ? 40 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Afternoon shift * Day shift * Morning shift Work days: * Every Weekend * Holidays Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) * Time management: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationMulmur, ON
