Green PI Inc is presently looking for its client to provide two *Architectural Project Managers* to deliver construction capital projects with significant focus on architectural systems. The Project Manager will be assisting the team in the delivery of projects on time and on budget, while meeting end user requirements. Specifically, they will manage the planning, design development, project budget development, implementation and evaluation of key facility projects and initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to develop project plans, track deliverables, develop and update project status reports on high complexity projects while assisting in scope definition, schedule and budget development. This is a contract opportunity for one year with a possibility of extension for two six-month terms.
*Responsibilities*
* Supports the planning and end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of moderate to high complexity and risk
* In collaboration with team leads and project stakeholders, define project scope, deliverables, costs, schedules, quality and status requirements
* Develops and implements project charters, project management, risk management and communications plans.
* Determines and develops resources and budget requirements, cost estimates, and project timelines.
* Identifies project risks and develops Risk Registers and Risk Management Plans ? identifies and implements strategies for mitigation and associated contingency plans.
* Manage and oversee the submission development, approvals and recording of project documentation.
* Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of building architectural systems in existing facilities including building envelope, space use, material selections, code compliance and life safety systems.
* Support Project Delivery Services during project initiation and planning by reviewing material, cost and timing, estimates and reports related to building architectural systems in existing facilities including building envelope, space use, material selections, code compliance and life safety systems for proposed renovation projects.
* Maintain a good understanding of the project scope and when changes to the scope occur, negotiate solutions to ensure outcomes meet end user expectations.
* Coordination, execution, monitoring and control of project change management.
* Act as the primary liaison with the end user, consultant, contractor, and project team to ensure close stakeholder relationships are maintained.
* Conduct procurement activities including the development of the scope of work, RFP document development.
*Mandatory Requirements*
The potential candidate must possess the following:
* Proven experience in working on healthcare and/or laboratory related projects.
* Advanced experience in developing, managing and reporting on project budgets and monitoring project performance and forecast expenditures.
* Advanced communication and interpersonal skills in the English languages (French is considered an asset).
* Advanced ability to manage end user relationships and expectations.
* Ability to manage vendor relationships and performance.
* Possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize project delivery and deliver value to our end users.
* Displays extensive experience in the management of CCDC and owner contracts. Experience in the management of Claim Delays is considered an asset.
* Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills based on sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
* Advanced experience in managing and mitigating project risk.
* Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, resourcefulness and the ability to work as part of a large dynamic team.
