Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Remote location. Tasks: Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs. Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems. Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance. Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. Assess business opportunities and develop strategies. Develop risk management plans. Leading/instructing groups. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Area of work experience: Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities. Area of specialization: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
