Treble N Bass is on the lookout for a devoted and enthusiastic Sax Teacher to enrich our team from september 2024 till june 2025. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to guide students through the beautiful journey of mastering an instrument. Responsibilities: * Craft and deliver instructional materials aligned with our curriculum guidelines * Mastering the saxophone * Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere to encourage student engagement and involvement * Evaluate student progress and furnish constructive feedback to nurture their musical journey * Stay abreast of industry trends and adopt best practices in teaching methodologies * Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, performance, and other pertinent information Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (preferred) * Prior experience in teaching the saxophone * Proficiency in the subject matter and adeptness in instructional techniques * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * Flexibility to adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles * Possession of patience, empathy, and a genuine ardor for education Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.51-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Flexible schedule Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Burlington, ON L7L 4X5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application question(s): * which instrument(s) do you play? * Are you legally allowed to work in Canada?
