Job details
Reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent, the Strategic Buyer will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of the complete tendering process and the identification of existing contractual commitments. He/she will work from home, with occasional visits to the Windfall site and/or the Montreal office, on a 5-2 work schedule. Transportation, lodging and meals provided on site. Duties and responsibilities • Plan strategic sourcing requirements with requisitioners and line manager; • Define and implement strategies to achieve cost reduction objectives; • Produce the documentation required for calls for tender with the departments ; • Assume responsibility for tenders assigned by superior ; • Identify new sources of supply to reduce risks; • Prequalification of bidders- LocationMontréal, QC
