*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious baked goods that delight our customers. You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of items, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. If you have a love for baking and experience in the food industry, we would love to hear from you. *Duties* * Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. * Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation. * Decorate cakes and other baked items with creativity and attention to detail. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to adhere to food safety standards. * Package finished products for sale while ensuring proper labeling and presentation. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. * Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve baking skills. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. * Experience with cake decorating is a plus but not mandatory. * Excellent attention to detail and creativity in product presentation. * Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
