*Job Summary* *RV Journeyman Technician / Trainer* *Carefree RV* is Alberta?s favorite RV dealership located in Edmonton, AB. We sell and service all types of RV's from travel trailers to fifth wheels to luxurious class A motorhomes. Here we grow again! We are looking for a full-time, permanent licensed *RV Technician *to join our Carefree RV team. This person will be responsible for training and leading our young team of Technicians. and would be responsible for servicing, repairing, and refurbishing all types of recreational vehicles. The environment can be fast paced with tight deadlines, turn around times and full of Team Players. *As an RV Technician / Trainer, :* * Have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic * Be punctual, professional, and work as part of a team * Work well independently and with little supervision, be self-motivated * Take pride and produce quality work * Be a Team Player and Lead by Example * Keep your tools clean and organized at all times * Perform physically demanding tasks * Have the ability to multi-task, deal with large volumes of work and flexible in changing priorities * Work inside/outside * Have a valid class 5 driver?s license and clean driver abstract * Can lift up to 50 lbs. *Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* * Perform pre-delivery inspections. * Accurately diagnose problems on any RV.. * Identify warranty issues. * Troubleshoot problems presented by customers. * Remove and re-install parts. * Service and repair all types of recreational vehicles. * Install fifth wheel and trailer hitches and wire tow vehicles. * Use computerized and electronic devices. * Answer directly to your Service Advisor or Operations Manager. * Previous experience as a RV Journeyman Technician is required of 1year. * Assist the Foreman with a young Team of Techs, Teach, Guide and Lead by Example. *Carefree RV?s work environment may include:* * The RV Technician works 90% of the time in the service shop. * Working off site for RV shows or trailer repairs * Working the occasional weekend and evening, especially during the busy season of April through September.
