Our *Cobble Hill* location is looking for a *Grocery Clerk* *Full-time* to join our family! The grocery department is responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and product knowledge as well as creating an amazing product display. *Job Responsibilities:* * Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfactory * Stock shelves and display area * Assist customers to product inquiry and make recommendation * Record incoming stock and price items using stickers/labelling * Assist with bagging groceries for customers * Performing general cleaning duties * Other task as required by immediate superior *Experience:* * Related retail experience is an asset but not required *Working Conditions:* * Ability to safely bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis * Ability to walk and stand for the duration of shift * Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures * A high-level of motivation and a proactive attitude * Desire to provide outstanding customer service and to comply with established department procedures and safe work practice * A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback *Schedule Requirements:* * Ability to work flexible hours * Must be available weekends, evenings , and holidays *Our amazing perks!* * Get paid every Friday! * Special Team Member Discount Program * Pay increases linked to performance * Flexible schedules posted in advance * Team Member assistance and wellness program * A positive and inclusive team-oriented environment * Recognition programs that regularly celebrate achievements #CGLow Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.40-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * Afternoon shift * Day shift * Evening shift Work days: * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationCobble Hill, BC
