Kot Auto Group is in the process of completing a brand-new state-of-the-art facility. This will come equipped with a 17-bay service shop, a separate fast lube building, and a service drive through check-in. The entire shop will have brand new hoists, benches & all shop equipment. Currently our bays are staffed with talented technicians, many having been with us for five or more years. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, a team-first mindset, and prior experience in an automotive service department. They should be passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and leading a hardworking team. A hands-on approach and accountability for delivering results are essential. Victoria Hyundai is an equal opportunity employer with a unique team and working environment. *Who are you?* * Have a minimum 2+ years experience in Automotive Service Management * Have a proven track record leading teams * PBS knowledge is considered a key asset * Must be eligible to work in Canada If this sounds like the perfect fit, we can?t wait to hear from you! *What does the day to day look like?* * Oversee service department by managing, and mentoring technicians and service advisors. Large department. 4 service advisors, 2 appointment coordinators, warranty administrator, lot attendant, and a full shop of technicians. * Ensure a guest experience that exceeds our guest?s expectations and the manufacturer?s customer satisfaction index (CSI) * Work with General Manager to set sales and gross objectives for department and for service advisors. * Ensure guest vehicles are serviced in a timely manner * Handle and resolve guest concerns and complaints * Monitor and control all warranty activity, assuring compliance with warranty policies and procedures * Communicate regularly with guests about maintenance and service work needed * Remain current on product and industry changes * Lead a collaborative service department, working closely with sales and parts departments * Support with hiring and training processes for new members of the service team * Perform other duties as required *Why Victoria Hyundai?* We are located in the beautiful city of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
