* *MUST HAVE A VALID CANNSELL AND ALREADY AN UBER EATS DRIVER OR WILLING TO SIGN UP IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION* *Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our products. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. * Plan delivery routes effectively to maximize efficiency and minimize delays. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. * Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. * Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Assist with basic automotive repair as needed to keep the vehicle operational. * Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading freight. *Requirements* * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred. * Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus. * Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries in a timely manner. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. * A commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road and at delivery sites.
