* $50 - $60 / hour (depending on experience) * 30 - 40 hours / week * Monday ? Friday * Please contact for more information We can provide guaranteed work, a unique set of responsibilities, a casual work environment, and a great work-life balance. *KEY FUNCTION:* Provide physiotherapy services to patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to maximize abilities, maintain and/or improve independence and assist with functional limitations. *REPORTING:* Under the general direction of the Clinic Director. *DUTIES:* * Perform physical assessment and review medical history with patients to establish a clinical impression for physiotherapy intervention as required. * Initiate and execute all physiotherapy treatments related to the clinical impression. * Deliver patient care and perform on-going evaluations to determine discharge from service is appropriate. * Document assessment in patient?s medical chart, clinical impression, and all related physiotherapy intervention and patient outcomes; maintain an accepted standard of documentation for quality assurance as outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). * Maintain relevant statistical information. * Work collaboratively with other health care professionals regarding patient management for clinical problem-solving. * Educate patients. * Evaluate patient care and satisfaction on an ongoing basis and formulate solutions for improvement. * Educate and promote health, safety and wellness in the workplace. * Perform other duties as required. *QUALIFICATIONS* *EDUCATION AND TRAINING:* * Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) is required * Proof of valid professional liability insurance is required * Ministry of Labour ?Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps? training certificate is required * Extra certifications considered an asset * Bilingualism considered an asset *EXPERIENCE:* * New graduates welcome *KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:* * Demonstrated knowledge in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. * Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, plan improvements, measure success and continue improvement. * Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. * Demonstrated ability to manage routine correspondence. * Demonstrated discretion and maturity when handling confidential information. * Demonstrated commitment to the safety of co-workers and patients. *PERSONAL SUITABILITY:* * Maintain good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) * Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and criminal record check is required * Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. * Demonstrated professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. * Demonstrated ability to meet the cognitive, emotional, and environmental demands of the job. * Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. * Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record. * Ability to use tact and discretion in dealing with health care providers and patients.
