CFT is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Stittsville and provide maintenance for our fleet. *Responsibilities* * Complete job assignments in a safe, timely and productive manner * Responsible for the repair, (reactive and preventative) maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment * Inspecting trucks, cranes, bulldozers, baler and other heavy equipment for proper performance. * Perform oil changes and brake inspections on vehicles (heavy equipment) * Follow all safety procedures and protocol * Performs other duties as assigned *Qualifications* * Possession of a 3-10-T license * Experience with diagnosing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing mobile and stationary equipment * Ability to test and repair heavy equipment using all types of diagnostic and repair tools * Experience diagnosing diesel engines * Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities * Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance * Promotes respect and able to work in a team environment * Enjoy working outdoors under all weather conditions * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines *This position is full time, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays.* Wage is based on experience!
