Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets. Calculate premiums. Establish client insurance coverage. Identify potential markets. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial or territorial licence. Insurance experience: Property/casualty insurance. Commercial insurance. Automobile insurance. Fire insurance. House insurance. Tenant insurance. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Credit check. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Client focus.
