In training the world's newest flight crews, it is essential to ensure the highest level of safety and quality in maintaining the College's fleet of aircraft. MFC Training is currently looking for both Certifying and Non-Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team in Moncton and Fredericton, NB! Our Operations: MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization, carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance and heavy maintenance checks. MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of Diamond DA20-C1, Cessna 172s, Piper Seminoles and King Air C90s in a flight training environment.Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of Aircraft Maintenance. Shifts: 5-4-5 schedule, 11.5 hours a day, with no overnight shifts, allowing for 2 weekends off every month and every weekend off is a long weekend. Our Bases with MFC Training: Moncton, NB Fredericton, NB Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components including heavy maintenance;Report on issues affecting the service ability of aircraft;Ensure aircrafts are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations;Co-ordinate parts requirements and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions;Administration and direction of safety practices and procedures; Complete work sheets for work accomplished;Report unserviceable maintenance equipment; andOther duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS;Preferred: M1/M2 license or equivalent rating. Minimum of 2 years of experience as AME is considered an asset; Experience on light piston and turboprop aircraft an asset;Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills;The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;Strong troubleshooting skills; andCapable of successfully obtaining security clearances including.Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
