*Job description*
We are looking for a very confident, motivated go-getter Design/Sales Consultant that is ready to hit the ground running and expand our customer base in the kitchen and bathroom industry.The right candidate will work with a variety of people and personalities while adapting quickly to unexpected obstacles. Some main responsibilities for this position but not limited to are:
*Duties and responsibilities:*
* Qualify leads turned into finalized sales.
* Create compelling sales pitches..
* Complete all paperwork relating to a sale
* Prepare proposal drawings and presentations at our showroom or clients home.
* Helping customers select the products (cabinets, countertops, tiles, fixtures, etc.) for their project and follow up with clients for any final touches.
* Monitoring projects and managing customer relationships through consistent follow-up.
* Continuing professional development to stay current with NKBA, products, design trends, and building codes.
* Preparing detailed estimates/invoices.
* Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
* Develop design concepts that align with clients' goals and vision
* Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to visualize design ideas
* Select furniture, fixtures, color schemes, and decorative elements
* Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
* Oversee the installation of design elements and ensure they meet quality standards
*WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ( Qualifications/ Education):*
* Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Interior Design/Marketing with 5 years of experience or an equivalency of both.
* A portfolio showing a collection of work and achievements.
* Skilled in AutoCAD software or equivalent software common in kitchen design both 2D & 3D.
* Skills and understanding of SolidWorks is an asset.
* Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Proven eye for good design and color, and knowledge of best practices in kitchen and bathroom renovations.
* Excellent verbal and written English language skills including grammar and basic proof-reading.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a creative process to meet client needs. and reach consensus with multiple contributors and design expectations.
* Outstanding project management skills and ability to prioritize work, stay calm and organized while handling multiple requests and lines of approval.
* Exemplary attention to detail and constantly strive for excellence in the work you produce.
* Excellent people skills, along with strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Ambitious, eager to learn and are continuously challenging yourself to improve your skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated outstanding client-service
*The following are considered assets:*
* AKBD/CKBD.
* Diploma in Kitchen and Bath Design.
* Diploma in Interior Design or Architectural Technology.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience with Quickbooks.
* Bilingual in English and French
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
* Commission pay
