The La Salle Nursery School is seeking a Part Time Child Care Assistant for our 3 year old and 4 year old programs. We operate 2 sessions per day on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and a morning session on Monday & Wednesday throughout the School year. The program is operated out of the La Salle School, only 8 minutes South of the Perimeter. The successful applicant will have their own transportation. Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer's off!! *Responsibilities* * Assist in the supervision and care of children in a safe and nurturing environment. * Support the implementation of educational activities and play-based learning. * Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development. * Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs. _*To qualify for the position you must have completed your CCA certification course.*_ CPR C and Emergency First Aid certification is required, and successful candidates will be required to apply for a Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, as well as a Child Abuse Registry Check.
