*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care. *Duties* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Power Practice dental software. * Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. * Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dental hygiene. *Qualifications* * Valid provincial license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Familiarity with Power Practice or similar dental office management software is preferred. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service. * Understanding of privacy requirements in Alberta and ability to keep patient information confidential. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
