*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic helper to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, which includes various types of vehicles and machinery. The Diesel Mechanic helper will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other mechanics and staff to provide exceptional service. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards. * Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs effectively.. * Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for moving equipment within the shop. * Open to learn and work in fast paced environment. * Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. *Skills* * Comfortable in working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to diesel mechanics. * Mechanical knowledge an asset. * Familiarity with electrical systems related to diesel engines. * Punctuality Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic Helper where your skills will contribute to the success of our operations while ensuring that our fleet remains safe and efficient.
