Are you looking to teach while having a flexible & accommodating work schedule? We are an enthusiastic bunch of instructors who adore sharing our talents with many and seeing smiles on and off ice, in search of an addition to our team who is also full of energy and enthusiastic about teaching! This position is perfect for someone looking for a couple of extra working hours a week - ideal for post-secondary students, adults or parents looking for a couple of hours out of the house/some side income! Requirements: * Figure Skating Background (Preferred) or Hockey Background * 18 years old or older * Basic First Aid Knowledge * Police Background Check (VSC) * G2 or G license with a Vehicle to travel with. *Hours per week: *Range from 4-8 hours/week *Days/Times: *_Our core hours are as follows. These are the primary hours that we would require the applicant to be available to teach._ * Thursday & Friday evenings between 4:00PM-8:00PM * Saturdays between 10:00AM-5:00PM Classes are available across the GTA. We are currently hiring for instructors that are available to teach within Mississauga, Milton and Oakville. There will be an on-ice and off-ice interview to follow if successful. Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 ? 10 per week Benefits: * Store discount Schedule: * Day shift Application question(s): * How many years of experience do you have working with children? * Why are you interested in applying for this position? * What experience do you have on the ice, either in figure skating or hockey? (For example, have you competed in figure skating competitions, participated in AAA hockey, completed a figure skating program, coached or assisted skaters, or skated recreationally? Please provide as much detail as possible about your level of experience and involvement.) * This role requires a G2 or G license and a reliable vehicle for your own transportation, as winter conditions can make public transit unpredictable. Can you confirm you meet these transportation requirements? * We are hiring for the below hours. Are you available within the requested hours/availability of: 1. Thursday & Friday evenings between 4:00 PM-8:00 PM 2. Saturdays between 10:00AM-5:00PM * We require instructors who can teach at all three locations this season?Mississauga, Oakville, and Milton. Can you confirm that you are available to teach at each of these locations? Education: * DCS / DEC (preferred) Experience: * Figure Skating: 1 year (preferred) * Hockey: 1 year (preferred) Language: * fluent english (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-23- LocationMississauga, ON
