*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on a variety of heavy equipment and Drilling Rig Equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing high-quality service. We are a smaller company that has been operating out Nisku area the last 24 years *Duties* * Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues. * Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and Drilling Rigs * Repair or replace faulty parts, including electrical component. * Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. * Field Service repairs in various locations thru out Alberta *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic * Extensive experience on Cat, Detroit and Cummins engine required * Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and troubleshooting techniques. * Experience with heavy equipment operation. * Proficiency in electrical systems related to diesel engines * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. * Certification from an accredited vocational program or equivalent experience is preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Mechanic experience: 7 years (required) * Customer service: 1 year (required) * Mechanical knowledge: 7 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationLeduc, AB
