Pace Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated, highly organized, friendly, outgoing, and motivated individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. We are a hard-working, fun, and detail oriented team of professionals hoping to bring someone in who can help our team.
This position is for Pace Pharmacy's Leaside location (near Laird and Eglinton).
The successful candidate should have experience working with people and providing excellent customer service in English. Experience working with QuickBooks is an asset. As well, experience working in a community retail pharmacy is an asset but is not required. In addition to shipping and receiving duties, you will be required to help with administrative duties in the dispensary including invoicing and accounts receivable.
Shipping and Receiving Job Duties include, but not limited to:
* Preparing shipping waybills and packing orders for delivery
* Overseeing shipping logistics
* Overseeing outgoing and incoming deliveries
* Creating accurate invoices and promptly receiving payments
* Placing and receiving orders
* Assisting with inventory management
* Tracking office and other supplies and re-ordering as necessary
* Handling cash and credit cards, and reconciling day-end sales reports
* Administrative duties, such as accounts receivable, time sheets, etc.
* Coordinate with other pharmacy team members to ensure smooth operation and flow of duties
* Assist with general cleaning and regular garbage removal/disposal
* Keeping work areas clean and free of clutter; including work surfaces, equipment, floors, etc.
* Lifting/moving heavy totes, boxes, etc. (eg, up to 25-50lbs)
* General office administration
* Abide by all company policies
Recommended Software Experience:
* QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online)
* Microsoft Office
* Shipping/courier systems
* Kroll dispensary software

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, sit, and use hands and fingers to manipulate, handle or feel tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, smell, talk and hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25kg. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
