Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Tasks: Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors. Estimate repair costs. Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment. Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. Equipment and machinery experience: Diesel engines. Garden tractors. Gasoline-powered equipment. Lawn mowers. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
