Employment Opportunity <p>Substitute Teachers <p> Northland Online School <p>Northland Online School is seeking Elementary, Junior High and High School Substitute Teachers. The online school serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, offering a personalized approach to education that blends whole school initiatives with tailored online learning experiences. Our curriculum proudly integrates First Nations, Métis language, culture, and land-based learning, creating a rich and inclusive learning environment. As we prepare to welcome Grade 12 students, we are excited to further enhance our vibrant online community.<p>Major Responsibilities include: <p><p> Following the prescribed program of studies for each subject taught.<p> Follow and execute daily lesson plans.<p> Provide feedback to the teacher and/or principal in a timely manner.<p> Provide feedback to students in a regular, timely manner.<p> Possess strong interpersonal skills and commit to collaborative-decision making.<p> Possess technological skills required to teach virtually.<p> Promote differentiated instruction to meet diversity in learning needs.<p><p>Qualifications and Requirements include: <p><p> Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.<p> Must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree.<p><p>Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume including the names of three (3) employer references to: Krista Veitch, Associate Superintendent, Human Resources, Northland School Division.
